The older I get the more I gravitate toward stores that harken to days past. I've always loved the feel and smell of an old country store from the wide plank flooring, old display items lining the inside and outside of the building to the wonderful items that country stores offer, be it old fashioned candy, locally made specialty foods or just nostalgic "I remember those things" fun stuff. I will always be a kid at heart.
As many of our customers have mentioned, our store is much larger than it appears with thousands of items to appeal to every person and age in over 3,000 square feet. Above All Vermont is all about the nostalgia, whimsy and the quality that showcases many of the small, cottage based businesses in Vermont and New England. This is one "fun store" to shop and browse.
Beautifully located in southwestern Vermont, Manchester is easily accessible to the rest the Northeast but tucked into the Green Mountains in the picturesque Battenkill River Valley. With wonderful shopping, restaurants and inns, Manchester and the Mountains is a great place to live, visit for the day or vacation.
